On June 8th, it became Subtropical Depression One, under a conducive environment for strengthening it became a Subtropical Storm and was named "Arthur". Arthur gradually strengthened to its peak intensity of 65 mph and 994 millibars, after peak intensity a approaching cold front started to absorb it, and on June 11th it weakened back to a subtropical depression, the next day it was absorbed into the cold front after weakening further to a remnant area of low pressure. |
